We believe in an integrative approach to healthy skin. Fortify’s Naturopathic Doctor’s are committed to helping you achieve your Skin Goals naturally, holistically and meaningfully. Our natural, minimally-invasive aesthetic treatments will support you in building a strong and sustainable foundation for optimum beauty, skin health and longevity.
This innovative procedure treats fine lines, acne scars, minimizes pores, and improves skin texture and tone. Minimally invasive, microneedling is virtually painless, and is incredibly effective and safe for all skin types. It works by causing microscopic injuries to the skin, which stimulates the body’s innate wound-healing response, leading to increased production of collagen and elastin in the dermis. An immediate (and long lasting) “glow” has clients hooked.
Micro-needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, the Eclipse MicroPen™ is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. Micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels through which topical gels, creams and serums can be penetrated deeper into the dermis to help improve the appearance of the skin.
It is useful for skin scarring issues from surgeries, injuries or acne, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. It also helps shrink pores and tightens the skin. Everything simply looks smoother, firmer and younger afterwards.
Micro-needling can be combined with topical serums, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for tailored treatments to meet your unique needs.
The Eclipse MicroPen™ can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.
Initially, your skin care professional will apply topical lidocaine to numb the skin and ensure a comfortable and pain-free treatment. Then, a thin layer of serum is applied and the pen is gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered. Once the entire face has been treated, the Doctor will go back and “stamp” (aka needles harder) target areas like crows feet, smile lines, and deep scars. The entire treatment takes 20-30 minutes. Hydrating hyaluronic acid, and healing vitamin c applied during the treatment are infused into the skin via the micro channels created by the pen, minimizing downtime and enhancing results.
Your skin will be pink similar to a sunburn and feel warm. Depending on the depth of treatment performed this redness can go away that evening or last a couple days. Most often your skin will feel dry for a few days post treatment. You are provided with hydrating facial serums to aid your skin during this time. When having treatment for acne scarring there can be mild peeling or dryness post treatment. On average, patients are red up to 2 to 4 days but many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.
Patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after a treatment as collagen production continues. While the micro-channels heal, it is important to follow our Naturopathic Doctor’s aftercare protocol to avoid post-procedure complications and to enhance overall results.
You will want to wait 2 weeks after injectables to have the Micro-Needling Treatment. However you can have fillers and botox as soon as the day after a Micro-Needling treatment.
It is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3-4 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Upon completion of protocol, we recommend a minimum of one treatment a year. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 4-6-week intervals.
A topical cream is used to numb the skin prior to the procedure which will reduce the sensation of the microneedles. You can expect to feel vibrations and minor irritation over sensitive areas of the face.

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that primarily involves the injection of compounds known to be beneficial for skin health, into the dermis. In addition to others these compounds may include vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Mesotherapy can be used to reduce wrinkles, increase collagen production, and improve the skin’s overall complexion. Results can be seen almost immediately, and they will typically last for several months.
Mesotherapy has recently been marketed as an alternative to Botox or fillers like Restylane, as it is meant to plump the skin by building collagen. And while it might help treat wrinkles on the face, mesotherapy is not exactly a replacement for other procedures, like Botox. While Botox prevents wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing the facial muscles, mesotherapy works to nourish the skin, layer by layer.
Mesotherapy targets areas of volume loss by performing tiny injections of vitamins, minerals, and other components naturally found into the skin (including PRP) directly into the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural collagen and elastin production that builds a natural facial scaffold restoring plumpness and symmetry while leaving the skin visibly tightened and rejuvenated.
Yes, there’s little downtime! For sensitive skin, there is risk of minor swelling, bruising and redness surrounding injection sites that will normally subside within 48hours. While the injection sites heal, it is important to follow our Naturopathic Doctors aftercare protocol to avoid infection and unwanted blemishing.
A topical cream is used to numb the surface of the skin to reduce poking sensations but clients may experience gentle pressure and underlying tingling at the time of injection.
It takes time for the body to build up its collagen scaffold so results are best achieved with weekly treatments for 4-6 weeks.

This increasingly popular treatment targets wrinkles, facial fullness, and melasma, and is also effective for treating thinning hair on the scalp. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is abundant in growth factors which stimulate collagen and elastin production and promote conditions for healing. PRP is introduced to the skin by direct injection into specific trouble areas or by microneedling. Because PRP is extracted from one’s own blood, there is little to no risk for a negative reaction and the results are completely natural.
PRP treatments harness the healing power the client’s own body! Platelet-Rich-Plasma is a nutrient-dense mixture harvested from the client’s blood. PRP contains compounds and growth factors naturally found in the body that trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration.
The treatment of PRP involves a fraction of blood, collected or ‘drawn up’ from the individual patient into a syringe. The collected blood is then spun down in a centrifuge to separate its components. The platelet rich plasma is then re-injected, and/or micro-needled back into the skin.
PRP can be injected directly into areas of thinning hair to induce re-growth. Injection of PRP into the hair follicle stimulates stem cells to promote returning hair density.
In order to obtain a useful amount of PRP, about 11mL of blood will be drawn for facial treatments and about 22mL will be drawn for hair restoration treatments.
Downtime is decreased as the injectable material is sourced from the client’s own blood sample and readily taken up by the body.

Find your glow from within. Cosmetic acupuncture targets common skin worries such as fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and scarring. Also known as an “acupuncture facelift,” it is a non-surgical and non-toxic treatment that reverses the signs of aging, helping to maintain a youthful look, and ultimately improve one’s sense of well being.
Tiny needle punctures stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory system which rush to deliver nutrients and oxygen to facial skin cells, nourishing skin from the inside out. Simultaneously, the micro-punctures stimulate the production of collagen improving skin elasticity, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.
The side effects associated with facial acupuncture are minimal, and most people are a good candidate for this treatment. Some patients use facial acupuncture as an alternative to cosmetic fillers and neurotoxins to avoid certain side effects, such as the potential for facial muscle paralysis associated with BOTOX®. In addition, if you are seeking any of the anti-aging benefits mentioned above, facial acupuncture may be the perfect treatment for you.
All forms of acupuncture (including facial acupuncture) are not recommended for patients who are taking blood thinners or who suffer from a blood clotting disorder. It is important to let your practitioner know if you have received BOTOX® injections so that they can make sure enough time has passed before beginning facial acupuncture treatments.
Facial acupuncture treatment sessions last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. It is a good idea to wear minimal makeup and avoid heavy creams or lotions on the day of your treatment. There are no rigorous pretreatment procedures to follow, although it is a good idea to avoid taking blood thinners, such as ibuprofen.
You should feel comfortable throughout a facial acupuncture treatment session and should not be in pain. The needles used in the face are as little as 0.12 of a millimeter – that’s finer than half of your hair strand. If you do experience any discomfort, let your practitioner know so that they can make adjustments. Many patients find facial acupuncture to be very relaxing and look forward to treatments.
There is no downtime or recovery time needed after receiving facial acupuncture. It is a good idea to stay hydrated, but as soon as you’ve completed your session you will be able to resume your normal activities, including driving and exercising. Mild bruising can occur after treatments, but this is a rare side effect.
The number of treatments is determined by the acupuncturist based on the condition being treated and overall treatment goals. The precise number of sessions required and the frequency of treatments varies from patient to patient. It is common for an acupuncture facial regimen to consist of 10 sessions spread out over a few weeks. After that, maintenance sessions may be scheduled with reduced frequency.
Before beginning treatment, your Naturopathic Doctor will review your medical history to make sure you are a good candidate for treatment. They will also ask questions about your treatment goals and discuss what to expect during facial acupuncture.
On the day of your treatment, you will be asked to lie down on your back and your Doctor will gently tap tiny acupuncture needles into place along your face, neck, and hairline as needed. A few needles may also be placed along your hands or fingers. The needles will remain in place for 20 to 25 minutes. This is a great time to take a break from your busy day and relax, meditate, or listen to music.
At the end of your session, the needles will be removed, and you will be able to return to your normal schedule. Be sure to drink plenty of water to help flush out any toxins released during treatment, and do your best to avoid consuming a lot of caffeine or alcohol.

Daily activities, stress, and other factors play a significant role in the aging process and decreased energy levels. Intravenous, or IV Nutrient Therapy is a process of administering essential vitamins and minerals into the body through the bloodstream. When vitamins are consumed orally, they are filtered through the stomach and intestines, so only a fraction of the nutrients are absorbed by the body. The goal of IV Nutrient Therapy is to benefit the body by increasing the percentage of vitamins and minerals absorbed. How your skin looks is a reflection of how your body’s functioning—how every organ in the body is working.
Nutritional IV Therapy always requires a complete assessment of your health and medical history, which is conducted by a Naturopathic Doctor. The IV drip will contain natural ingredients compounded specifically for your skin and health goals. The vitamins and minerals found in IV Vitamin infusions, will improve skin health from the inside out!
Our infusions consist of essential nutrients that are naturally derived. Our formulas have been developed by qualified practitioners. All infusions have been carefully calculated using medical dosages that are approved by local authorities.
When our bodies suffer from vitamin deficiencies, we often resort to supplementation to compensate. The human body absorbs 10 – 30% of the vitamins contained in oral pills, hence making IV vitamin therapy more effective as it goes directly into the bloodstream with 100% absorption rates compared to supplements or directly from food sources.
Results will vary for each client as our bodies are different from one another; generally guests notice symptoms immediately or up to 48 hours later. Some may not feel any noticeable difference, but this doesn’t mean that the treatment was not effective. IV nutrient therapy is sometimes used to maintain wellbeing similar to when people take oral supplements to maintain nutrient levels in the body and “knowing” that it’s good for you to do so. We promote IV nutrient therapy as supplementation, prevention, and helping sustain long-term wellbeing.
Yes, this is a rejuvenating treatment and normal daily activities can be resumed.
In order to ensure IV therapy is suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, we require you to book a complimentary Meet + Greet appointment with one of our Naturopathic Doctors to discuss this treatment further.
