Seeing a Nurse Practitioner is not covered by Manitoba Health. However certain referrals such as bloodwork, ultrasound, xray, MRI and more are covered. Speak to your Nurse Practitioner about what is covered by Manitoba Health.
In most cases, seeing a Nurse Practitioner is not covered by insurance but contact your insurance to see what your coverage includes. Prescriptions and other referrals may be covered by your plan.

At Fortify, we offer both in-person and virtual appointments with our Nurse Practitioners to best support your needs and schedule. During your visit, you can discuss your progress, review any new symptoms, adjust your treatment plan, and receive answers to your health-related questions.
Please note that certain assessments must be conducted in person. If you are considering a virtual appointment, we encourage you to contact us ahead of time to ensure your concerns can be fully and appropriately addressed.
