Wellness Assistant

Wellness Assistant
Fortify  — Winnipeg, MB (St. Boniface)

Fortify Natural Wellness is an integrative wellness collective — a complementary wellness clinic, a wellness retail shop, and a health-focused eatery, all under one roof. We’re looking for a Wellness Assistant who genuinely enjoys people and wants to be part of a team that takes health and wellness seriously.

This role is the first and last impression most of our patients get. You’ll need strong customer service instincts, a sales-comfortable mindset, and the kind of work ethic that doesn’t need to be asked twice.

What we run on

Above + Beyond — You show up for guests and teammates alike: restocking before you’re asked, staying two steps ahead of what a practitioner’s room needs, remembering the details that make a patient feel known.

Curiosity — You learn how the clinic actually works, not just your corner of it, so you can solve a problem instead of just relaying it.

Ownership Mentality — If you see something that needs doing, it’s yours — a messy supply shelf, a scheduling conflict, a guest who needs a better answer than “let me check.”

What we offer

  • A new, purpose-built clinic space
  • A hardworking, supportive team
  • A business model where retail, café, and clinic reinforce each other, not compete
  • Employee perks and incentives

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering an excellent guest experience, every time, no exceptions
  • Booking and scheduling appointments across multiple practitioners
  • Running point of sale — invoicing and billing
  • Managing clinical and office supply inventory, including ordering and restocking
  • Keeping practitioner rooms clean and organized, including laundry
  • Troubleshooting day-to-day issues as they come up
  • Handling confidential patient and business documents appropriately
  • Arranging couriers

What you bring

  • A friendly, professional manner and strong relationship-building skills
  • Sharp time management and organizational skills
  • Confident phone and interpersonal etiquette
  • Comfort with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Jane (our scheduling software) is a plus — training provided
  • The ability to pick up new information quickly and put it to use

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education minimum
  • First Aid + AED certification
  • PHIA training
  • Fluent written and spoken English required; bilingual English/French an asset
