Content Creator and Social Media Coordinator
Fortify is looking for a creative, organized, and visually strong Content Creator and Social Media Coordinator to join our team in a part-time employee role.This person will help bring our monthly marketing priorities to life through thoughtful content creation, social media coordination, and strong visual storytelling.
We are looking for someone who understands how to create content that feels polished, engaging, and aligned with our brand.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both the creative and practical side of social media, someone who can capture and edit content, turn ideas into strong posts and reels, and help support consistent brand presence across our platforms.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role with both in-person and remote work.
We are looking for someone who wants to be integrated into the Fortify team, participate in meetings, understand our brand, and work collaboratively with our internal team.
Our marketing efforts and goals are developed collaboratively with direction from Fortify’s ownership and management team.
We work from a monthly marketing calendar with clear priorities, promotions, and focus areas.
Your role will be to help translate those priorities into content that is useful, engaging, and visually strong.
We want our audience to understand our brand and offerings clearly while also connecting to our content on a personal level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create photo and video content for Instagram and other social platforms
- Edit reels and short form video content
- Plan and prepare content based on monthly marketing themes, promotions, and priorities
- Write captions and help shape content messaging for social posts
- Schedule and publish content
- Support story creation and day-to-day social media presence
- Engage with comments and messages as needed
- Work closely with the owners and team to capture content in clinic, retail, and lifestyle settings
- Help guide and prompt the owners for founder-led content and on camera moments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute content ideas
- Review content performance and provide simple monthly insights (based on analytics) on what is working and where there is room to improve
- Support occasional paid content boosting through Meta Business Suite
- Stay aware of social media platform updates, trends, and evolving best practices
Role Details
- Part-time employee position
- Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week
- Hybrid structure with regular in-person time required
Compensation Range:
$25 to $30 per hour, based on experience and fit
